Well, it has been a very long time since I added anything to my blog. I have the most fun reading everyone elses' blog that I never take time to write my own.

Today is Mother's Day. I had a very nice day. It was fun. We mostly ran around and did little errands. We went to Costco and I bought a cake and a boquet of flowers. Then we drove to the Hospital. Brian waited out in the car while I ran them in. I think the nurses were all surprized and happy that they were remembered for Mothers Day.

We ran around in my car today, but for the last couple of weekends we have been running around in Brian's new truck. He just loves it! It is a silver Toyota Tacoma TRD sport prerunner. TRD means Toyota Racing Development....(yes, it is just like "turd", why anyone would name their car that is beyoond me.) I had to go back and enter the pretunner part so that you would all know that it sits up high. It has an access cab...that means it has extra room behind the seats and the doors open out so that there is easy access. I have included a picture so that you can see.

Brian is going in for a colonoscopy on Tuesday. He says to let you all know that it will be a real pain in the "___". You get the picture. Anyway, wish him luck!

No pictures this time. We have just done a lot of running around. Brian decided that he would get his teeth fixed in Mexico (Copy Cat!), and so we have been driving back and forth for the last couple of weekends. Before that he went fishing with Lee in Monticello. (Yes, he left me here alone for the weekend!)

El Paso was lots of fun. There is always a lot of good shopping places there. And I always like to stay in a Motel. I watched some great movies and just took it easy. OH, OF COURSE I JUST HAD TO DO SOME SHOPPING AT STEINMART!

The second time, every hotel and motel all around El Paso was full. It turns out that there was a Space Convention there, but the biggest event, the one that filled everything up, was because the Rolling Stones were playing there! We finally found a motel in Las Cruses that had a cancellation. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! I would have loved to go to the concert, but that just isn't Brians thing. I settled for SteinMart again and also hit Kohl's! Actually, I had a great time!

Next weekend it is off to UTAH to see the Great Pumpkin! I am sure that there will be plenty of photos from that trip!

New Car Fever!

Brian decided that we or rather I, should have a new car. I still love the Jeep, but it sounds a little rattle-y. And it needs new tires. The problem was compounded when we figured the gas mileage, and we found that it had to be getting the worst gas mileage on earth. So, he went car hunting and price comparing. The Pontiac Vibe is what he came up with. All of the parts are made by Toyota. We have really liked our Sienna, so that is what he went for. Usually I sell my old car and he just buys the new one, but they have always been used cars. This one is new and would pull too much out of savings, so I am making monthly payments. But it is worth it. It is a lot easier to drive in stop and go traffic because it is an automatic. I don't know if I will part with my Jeep though....I just get too attached to funky cars.

This new one has all the bells and whistles. A good sound system. A six CD changer. A sunroof. There is even a plug so you can plug in something with prongs (not just in the cigarette lighter place). The gas mileage should be much better too, about double what the Jeep got. Anyway, here are a few pics.....Gotta Love It!

OK, so I to had the worst thing happen. I inteview some lady for a job. She wanted to talk to my boss, who had just stepped out of the office. I stuck my head out of the office into the hall foe one second. My boss was nowhere in sight. So the lady left...and with her went my credit card and by bank card. Thank goodness that was all the time she had to get into things. It c!uld have been a real disaster.

Of course, I can't prove it. But I heard the zipping of my wallet...I thought it was her purse. And she acted so nice. The charges started 5 minutes after she left the office at a gas station just across from the hospital. How convenient! Oh well, like I said, it could have been a lot worse.

Ok, I forgot to add some info. I am going to start classes in Kronos on Wed. That is the computer program which is our timeclock. I still am night charge nurse and will work my same schedule until she moves me down there. So it feels really strange not knowing if I am comming or going.

We are still working on the house. We had workers over today and they taped the drywall. They still need to come back and do another coat, but it is really starting to look like a house! We also have the first coat of stucco on. It is grey like cement. The color coat will be added as soon as this layer dries completely.

I am not sure when I am comming up. It does feel like a really long time since I have been up there. I am just waiting until all of this work stuff comes together. I will be able to plan better after I know what is going on.

I will try to take some pictures of the house tomarrow and post them tomarrow night. I still am finishing up the mothers day things...I figure a present anytime is good though!

We have had some unexpected delays in moving to the hospital down town. My boss says that I will still go (I am assuming fairly soon), but everyone else is staying where they are for four to six months. I think it is because they still have some renovation to do on the floor where they are moving.

Anyway, I took some pictures of my office. My boss's office is right behind the glass, right behind me. I hope you can figure it out from the pictures!

Ok, tonight is late on Sunday , I haven't written for a long time. Chrissy's site is so cute that I can't help think that every time I get on I should have picture or something. The only problem is that I don't take pictures except when I am with the kids. So all of the ones that I have are old. I have to use them over and over again. For all of my projects.

Chrissy's pictures are really cute and she takes new ones all the time. But then she has great subject matter! Oh, I will just take pictures of my dog and my house. How pathetic.

If I travel, I will put up my memoirs...the only trouble is that the only place that I travel is up to there to see you guys. (See, isn't that an angelic little face?)
